Daniel was born and raised in Los Angeles. In college, he double-majored in Economics and Political Science. He then attended law school as a Dean’s Honors Scholar, earning his Juris Doctorate and Master of Laws degrees while serving as his class representative and social chair.
Daniel is the founder of Accepted, a 501(c)(3) corporation dedicated to equalizing college admissions opportunities through guidance and resources for underrepresented minorities, promoting educational equity and access.
His professional life intersects law, politics, and education, driven by a commitment to ethics, service, and justice. He balances his time between legal practice, advocating for higher education, and demystifying college admissions as a coach and founder of Accepted. He has successfully coached students to gain admission to universities and graduate programs including Harvard, Yale, Columbia, Georgetown, UC Berkeley, and Harvard Law School, among others.
Previously, Daniel worked with the United States House of Representatives and the United States Senate while in law school. His drive to succeed enabled him to understand how law informs and regulates representation and participation in the political process.
Due to his adaptability in the political sector, he was privileged to compose speeches for public presentations and hearings, including for the U.S. Congress Joint Economic Committee’s hearing: “A Second Gilded Age: How Concentrated Corporate Power Undermines Shared Prosperity.” This opportunity reflects his commitment to civic engagement and his ability to examine legislation, find solutions to strengthen antitrust laws against corporate lobbyists, and seek resolutions against monopoly power.
Daniel is also a contributing columnist in Leadership & Education. He addresses gaps in these conversations with his unique blend of experiences, appealing to readers who crave depth and authenticity. Navigating the crossroads of law, politics, and education, Daniel brings a perspective that is both passionately personal and professionally informed.
As the founder of Accepted, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, and a college admissions consultant, Daniel balances his time between his law, advocating for higher education.
